    Forlorn Strangers

A national touring act with Appalachian-style roots, Forlorn Strangers opens for folk festivals around the United States and stakes a convincing claim to the bluegrass beat. The band is a collective of five songwriters, each having their own distinct styles that blend into one unmistakable voice. Their sound delves into all reaches of American roots music, driven by foot-stomping percussion and soaring family harmonies.

The band is comprised of sisters Abigail Dempsey (fiddle, guitar,  percussion, vocals) and Hannah Leigh Lusk (mandolin, percussion, upright bass, vocals); Chris Banke (guitar, mandolin, vocals); Benjamin Lusk (banjo, guitar, vocals); and Jesse Thompson (upright bass, dobro, guitar, vocals). Since 2013, Forlorn Strangers has released two EPs (While the Grass Grows and American Magic Tricks) and has toured continuously across the United States, playing for an ever-increasing group of appreciative fans. In 2015, Forlorn Strangers played over 180 shows in over one hundred cities and more than thirty states nationwide.

    The Novel Ideas

The Novel Ideas are a country-folk quartet of friends hailing from the great state of
Massachusetts who have earned a reputation from music critics and fans for their moving four-part harmonies and rich Americana sound. From rock clubs to living rooms to festival stages, the band strives to convey honesty and intimacy through their music.  The Novel Idea represents a contribution to the country-folk scene that balances love-and-loss melancholy with thoughtful instrumentation and intricate vocal arrangements.

    Summer Gill

Summer Gill showed signs of becoming a powerhouse performer at age 4 and at 7 began taking piano lessons. Gill’s debut EP “Stormy Weather” came out in 2016, pulling from alternative-pop influences.
